After Santander, Caixabank is the second biggest bank in Spain. At the front of tech innovation, it was the first bank to introduce mobile payments and are proudly pioneering a series of products and solutions for small companies to better serve customers in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
Supporting McCann Barcelona, Alex got involved in the early stages of a major UI/UX redesign of Caixa's internal intranet. As a living, breathing ecosystem of information that serves both Caixa sales staff and the bank's corporate clientele, the challenge was sizeable.
Namely, streamlining the user experience to create a seamless, relevant journey for each user, no matter what the information requirement. Alex proposed giving the depth, style and presentation of all content a visible facelift, to give users a clean and uncluttered experience. This elevates two aspects: more streamlined deeper dives; enhanced main navigation and overall site cohesiveness.
The client bought into the concepts. Alex's initial UX proposals are currently being worked into the bank's phased intranet refresh.
